It includes a supportive care like force feeding through some food tube and giving some fluid for the recovery of the dog. Basic aim behind this therapy is the cleansing of canine liver.
Food that should be avoided in this disease is chocolate, sugar, grilled, fried meat and bones green, red peppers, onions and tomatoes. Make use of stainless steel utensils for your dog rather than plastic bowls. Avoid them from drinking dirty water and make them available with distilled water.
